What Have You Been Up To, Jane?

 Wellllllllll............................................

It has been a while and I have been up to a lot... of good(I promise).

It feels like I have lived 20 months in 2023. I have been in several parts of Lagos and have assumed many roles.

If you are on my Whatsapp contact list, you do not have the full gist of what I have been up to, I assure you.

It is the International Day of The Girl Child so I am willing to share that in April 2023, I was appointed the Public Relations Officer of Prison Fellowship Nigeria (Lagos State Chapter). This role means a lot to me, considering that I did not vie for it.

I should stop typing and share some memories I have made this year......

I published another #MarryMeSeries because one of my avid young readers wanted more. I keep promising to publish the book but there has not been a good time 🏃🏃 for publishing. It could also be that ......, make I no talk am finish. Follow the Instagram page @marrymeseries and write me via DM if you want more of them or if you'd love to keep hearing from me 😉😉 I appreciate all my readers.

I tested God's grace on my life by applying to volunteer for #YALIMANDELADAY2023 as a Moderator and got it!!!

August 2023 was glorious!!!

 I joined SI4DEV

I also joined a community advocating one of the Advocacies I am passionate about! It has been amazing volunteering with the WAACSP for the Nigeria Customer Service Index nigeriacsi.org you should check out the website and take our survey https://nigeriacsi.org/survey/

I should write another Blog about my experience hosting and representing the Prison Fellowship Nigeria but I don tire. I will end the blog by sharing highlights about my experience at the conversation with the Deputy Secretary, Treasurer of the United States of America!!

It has been my best year yet. The year of  LIGHT as I saw it in January 2023(I get proof below) and declared it. I have not been shining as I want but The Lord Jesus Christ I serve(you should know Him too), has kept me.

Would you like to read my second book? Do you want to read or follow up on the stories in the MarryMe Book Series? Is there any of the Series that you want to follow until the end? Then you must buy the book 😀😀 MarryMe Book Cover My next blog post will be about how to order the book. Look out for it! Oh, and let me know what you think about the book cover. Thank you! Book Review: Born Again by Dag Heward-Mills

Picture from Google Born Again by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills is a short but great read. For me, It is great reminder of salvation and that Hell is real. The author explained: What it means to be born again.  What people think being born again is, that's wrong. He explained with biblical examples that the term Born Again means to be re-produced or re-created He talked about the different levels of hell and described hell fire. He said that hell has different stages  citing Deut 32: 22 which talked about the LOWEST HELL. He mentioned the steps to salvation and what to know/do after repentance/salvation. Dag Heward -Mills said we can't remember all our sins but we should always ask for forgiveness when we pray 1 John 1:5-9 I had to check myself again and ask for forgiveness after  reading this book.

I Am Grateful For My Father

Today, I'm grateful for my father. He made a lot of sacrifices, shielded my siblings and I from the ills of the society till we "got out of hand". Lol. My dad traveled a lot. I'm not sure he had a formal education but he wanted that for all his children and he put in a lot of effort. I believe his experiences shaped him and I am glad that they did. When he saw one/any of us brilliant (in academics), he planned for his/her future. He sold a couple of his lands to further our education. I wanted to travel alone to my home town in 2008, my dad was against it but the adventure in me wanted that experience, I also wanted to see my namesake who was also my grandmother. I know now why my dad wanted shielded us. The truth is in the fact/reasons why people from my place aren't proud of where they came from. A couple of times, he asked me for the magic in remaining employed or changing jobs and I'd laugh. If you are reading this and you don't kn...
