Hi guys, Jenny at #WOTGK2017 I  started 2017 with a resolve to mingle with people. Go to concerts, shows, events, musicals, you name it. So, when I saw the advert for  #WOTGK2017 conference organised and founded by Joys Oyedepo, I set my calendar for that day. It was awesome. We had a great time in God's presence, I tell you. We also had to privilege of meeting and touching,  our mentors, great women of God; in my opinion. Women like Dr. Ada Sonia, Mrs. Kemi Oyedepo, Nkechi Harry Ngonadi(NHN), Mrs. Yemi(Joys' former teacher), Joys and my favorite, Mrs. Tolu Ijogun(Pastor Bimbo and Taiwo Odukoya's daughter).  NHN and her runway models. So, Service at The Living Faith Church Worldwide While folks were making New Year resolutions, I joined my church; The Living faith Church Worldwide AKA Winners Chapel in annual prayers. I had a breakthrough in each of the last two years I participated in and I wanted another breakthrough this year. Who does not? I will share my experience as well as my Father(Bishop Oyedepo)'s teaching on the benefits of fasting and prayers. Fasting is a commandment ( Isaiah 58: 1-14, Matthew 6:16-18) as well as a choice.  Esther chose to fast in Esther 4:16. If you want an end to several manipulations of the devil in your life, it is advisable that you fast and pray. Praying during the fast is more important. Papa would say that fasting without prayers is dieting. Which is a waste of your time because "Bodily exercises profits nothing". We started the 21-day fasting and prayers on January 8, 2018. Hi guys, I joined the Prison Ministry in my church last year for personal reasons. I was not prepared for Falomo Prison, Ikoyi. Neither was I prepared for the stories from inmates. I may share my experiences at the facility later. Today I want to blog about something else. Last Sunday, January 21,  I was privileged by God's grace, to attend a Prison Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) meeting and it was an eye-opening experience. It felt like an old school party in a good way because I was the youngest there and there were many people, most of them in there 60s - 80s. The group spent an hour to honour the outgoing Chairman also known as Chaplain General Reverend Solomon Dipe . What touched me the most was how long; 40 years he spent saving, helping offenders. Hi!!! I am so sorry that I have not been consistent. L.O.L. It has been more than a year since my last post. I am actually posting this today because God has been so good to me. 2017 has been a year of reflections and maturity and great miracles. Reflections on my past, maturity in so many ways that I can not even count. I do not want to start writing about these now. I want to share a testimony.  Some days ago, a friend told me about an incident on his way from church and it triggered something in me. I worship at the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Ota every Sunday. If you live in Lagos, Nigeria you should know the church that is also called the "Winners' Chapel". Because I live very far from church, I have had to practically camp on the grounds several times this year. Especially on weekends. Hello Everyone, I am Sorry. I'm so sorry for all the bad things that I have done. This is the third year that I have not posted. Over the years, the Janet Chima that you knew became a workaholic. She currently has a job doing what most graduates in Nigeria consider their dream job but my fingers are still crossed.
