Update: The Cry Of Ishmael

1. This book will be one of the shortest books ever. 2. I wanted to publish it and give it out for free but one of my mentors advised against it. They said I should chop una money. Lol. 3. The book will be published first as an E-book. The hard copies will be made available later. 4. I am guarding the book with my life but I am also itching to share an Excerpt. I'll let you know when I can. 5. I'd love to complete Memoirs Of A Teenager   If you know me, you would know I wrote and shared this on Facebook 9 years ago. Thank you for your love. Especially those of you wey hold my wrapper in church yesterday, asking for an update.

Folatek Model High School Reunion at Tolulope Gegeloye's Wedding

From Left: Rachael Taiwo, Jane, Nasiru Zakariyau and Oluwaseun Guys, Late June 2019,  I got a Facebook invite from Oluwaseun Koshoedo. I didn't know she had planned and started a market strategy to get my old school mates(I am talking JSS1- JSS3 classmates) to attend Tolulope Gegeloye's wedding on July 13, 2019. We were all classmates at Folatek Model High School, Mulero, Agege before I left for Government Senior College, Agege. I had enjoyed the reunion at  Daniels Bolaji's Wedding  and because I love weddings and re-connecting, I promised I would attend. The event and the reunion was all I could imagine and more. We took lots of pictures, shared stories and I met my madam; Rachael Taiwo, who taught me subjects in class and at her home(I was a slow learner). I was so bad that I even had to copy her handwriting. I reconnected with Rachael Taiwo in 2018. It was amazing seeing her. She is now a Fashion Designer making big mon...

My First Book: The Cry of Ishmael

The Cover Of My First Book; The Cry Of Ishmael Early this month, I told my Facebook family that I am writing a book. This Cover Page is real  # forreal  proof that I am writing a book. It has been an interesting journey and I am forever grateful to God for the inspiration.  I am also grateful to people who see what I am still trying to see - the gift God gave me - The gift of Writing.  I will keep updating you .

I Am Grateful For My Father

Today, I'm grateful for my father. He made a lot of sacrifices, shielded my siblings and I from the ills of the society till we "got out of hand". Lol. My dad traveled a lot. I'm not sure he had a formal education but he wanted that for all his children and he put in a lot of effort. I believe his experiences shaped him and I am glad that they did. When he saw one/any of us brilliant (in academics), he planned for his/her future. He sold a couple of his lands to further our education. I wanted to travel alone to my home town in 2008, my dad was against it but the adventure in me wanted that experience, I also wanted to see my namesake who was also my grandmother. I know now why my dad wanted shielded us. The truth is in the fact/reasons why people from my place aren't proud of where they came from. A couple of times, he asked me for the magic in remaining employed or changing jobs and I'd laugh. If you are reading this and you don't kn...

What Is God's Will For Me?

Hi guys, 2018 has been awesome for me. One of the prophetic declarations for this year is that everyday shall be Christmas for me. I believed it and I can reliably say that my diary is almost filled with God's wonders and mercies to me. Let me stop the stories and enter to the business of the day. I am writing about what I have learnt about God's will. What is God's will? I will interpret it as God's desires, God's expectations and God's plan for me. Thankfully, I spent this year learning at the feet of one of God's servants on the earth so I thought to share some of God's will for us. 1. Salvation John 3: 16, which says that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son(Jesus), so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. So God's will for us is salvation from Sin. Isaiah 53: 1-4 painted a picture of what Christ did for us at calvary.  You can't call out to God unless you believe He sent...

Song: Praise Is What I Do By Skekinah Glory Ft. William Murphy

When I understood the lyrics of this song, I could only cry. This song is uplifting, talks about one of God's commandments (Malachi 2:1-3). It is also a vow to praise God no matter our situation. Praise is a debt we owe God.

My Love Letter

Guys, I found myself in Psalm 139 this morning. That chapter depicts how I feel this month, no, this year. I am still in awe of how much He loves me. Psalm 139  says it perfectly for me.  I call it my love letter. I am not sorry if you expected something else.  Lord , you have examined me and you know me. 2  You know everything I do;      from far away you understand all my thoughts. 3  You see me, whether I am working or resting;      you know all my actions. 4  Even before I speak,      you already know what I will say. 5  You are all around me on every side;      you protect me with your power. 6  Your knowledge of me is too deep;      it is beyond my understanding. 7  Where could I go to escape from you?      Where could I get away from your presence? 8  If I went up to heaven, you would be there; ...

Book Review: El Shaddai, The God Who Is More Than Enough

One of the best decisions I made this year was joining a book club. We receive an average of 10 books daily. When I saw this book  EL Shaddai, The God Who Is More Than Enough by Kenneth E. Hagin, I shouted for joy and snatched it. While reading the book, I almost highlighted all portions of the 52-page book. The pages has so many gems that I had to take notes. The book starts with several biblical examples/proofs that God is more than enough. He then shared real life stories, including how God healed him when he was 16 and about to die. On page 13, Kenneth Hagin shared a Greek Translation of John 14:13 that a scholar shared with them in ministerial school that was mind blowing.  The translation says that:  If you ask anything in My name, if I don't have it, I'll make it for you! From the book, I understood that God is not a thief or destroyer, the devil is - John 10:10, 1 Peter 5:8.  My key message in Page 19 is that: if my love...
