What Is God's Will For Me?

Hi guys, 2018 has been awesome for me. One of the prophetic declarations for this year is that everyday shall be Christmas for me. I believed it and I can reliably say that my diary is almost filled with God's wonders and mercies to me. Let me stop the stories and enter to the business of the day. I am writing about what I have learnt about God's will. What is God's will? I will interpret it as God's desires, God's expectations and God's plan for me. Thankfully, I spent this year learning at the feet of one of God's servants on the earth so I thought to share some of God's will for us. 1. Salvation John 3: 16, which says that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son(Jesus), so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. So God's will for us is salvation from Sin. Isaiah 53: 1-4 painted a picture of what Christ did for us at calvary.  You can't call out to God unless you believe He sent...

Song: Praise Is What I Do By Skekinah Glory Ft. William Murphy

When I understood the lyrics of this song, I could only cry. This song is uplifting, talks about one of God's commandments (Malachi 2:1-3). It is also a vow to praise God no matter our situation. Praise is a debt we owe God.

My Love Letter

Guys, I found myself in Psalm 139 this morning. That chapter depicts how I feel this month, no, this year. I am still in awe of how much He loves me. Psalm 139  says it perfectly for me.  I call it my love letter. I am not sorry if you expected something else.  Lord , you have examined me and you know me. 2  You know everything I do;      from far away you understand all my thoughts. 3  You see me, whether I am working or resting;      you know all my actions. 4  Even before I speak,      you already know what I will say. 5  You are all around me on every side;      you protect me with your power. 6  Your knowledge of me is too deep;      it is beyond my understanding. 7  Where could I go to escape from you?      Where could I get away from your presence? 8  If I went up to heaven, you would be there; ...

Book Review: El Shaddai, The God Who Is More Than Enough

One of the best decisions I made this year was joining a book club. We receive an average of 10 books daily. When I saw this book  EL Shaddai, The God Who Is More Than Enough by Kenneth E. Hagin, I shouted for joy and snatched it. While reading the book, I almost highlighted all portions of the 52-page book. The pages has so many gems that I had to take notes. The book starts with several biblical examples/proofs that God is more than enough. He then shared real life stories, including how God healed him when he was 16 and about to die. On page 13, Kenneth Hagin shared a Greek Translation of John 14:13 that a scholar shared with them in ministerial school that was mind blowing.  The translation says that:  If you ask anything in My name, if I don't have it, I'll make it for you! From the book, I understood that God is not a thief or destroyer, the devil is - John 10:10, 1 Peter 5:8.  My key message in Page 19 is that: if my love...

Book Review: Catch The Anointing by Dag Heward-Mills.

I have become a fan of Dag Heward-Mills' books. Some of them are short but they are powerful.   The book explains what the Anointing means. Teaches practical ways of being anointed without seeing/meeting The Anointed(i.e anointed men and women of God).  Citing himself as example, Bishop Heward- Mills says he never met some of the great men of God but caught their anointing through tapes and their books.  He said the Anointing is the principal thing we need in life because the Spirit is the Anointing. It is Life(like Jesus told His disciples in John 6:63), Elijah and Elisha in 2 Kings 2:11 as the two of them moved together. Elisha wanted and got a double portion of Elijah's Spirit AKA  anointing. So as we associate ourselves and believe in the men and women God sent to us, as well as READING THE WORD OF GOD, we get anointed. Bishop Dag Heward-Mills touched on reasons why people can not catch anointing from the carriers; race, sex, etc. He also gave ex...

Testimony: These eyes

These eyes. The devil tried really hard to take the eyes God gave me. For five days in September, 2018 I understood the value of one of the precious senses God gave us. The eyes. My eyes. I could not read or sit still with my poor eyes. The attack felt like stick and stones in my eyes. Bright light brought tears. The wind brought fears. It started on the 21st but by 26th, I had had enough of the pains and struggles. I remembered several healing testimonies. I reminded God of his faithfulness. I asked for forgiveness of my sins. The fears set in. Quickly. People had told me that working with/ looking at  bright screens too long would damage my eyes. I rejected that.  I used to read with the moon years ago. They didn't get damaged then. Why now?  Having spent over a decade looking at computer screens, tablets and phones, I often testify of not endangering my sight, I was not ready for a different testimony. I had Matthew 8:17 down. Is...

Book Review: Born Again by Dag Heward-Mills

Picture from Google Born Again by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills is a short but great read. For me, It is great reminder of salvation and that Hell is real. The author explained: What it means to be born again.  What people think being born again is, that's wrong. He explained with biblical examples that the term Born Again means to be re-produced or re-created He talked about the different levels of hell and described hell fire. He said that hell has different stages  citing Deut 32: 22 which talked about the LOWEST HELL. He mentioned the steps to salvation and what to know/do after repentance/salvation. Dag Heward -Mills said we can't remember all our sins but we should always ask for forgiveness when we pray 1 John 1:5-9 I had to check myself again and ask for forgiveness after  reading this book.

BOOK REVIEW: Fulfilling Your Days By Bishop David Oyedepo

Cover of The Book By Bishop David Oyedepo Fulfilling your days by Bishop Oyedepo  is a very powerful book. An eye opener for me. It explains a lot about life, choices and death. Today is also his birthday which makes it fitting to share his impact. In this review, I highlight the major points that I picked from the book. - Jesus has the key of death and He showed that with examples when He died Matt 27: 50 -53 which Paul confirmed in Colosians 2:15. - That Jesus showed us practical example of the authority/Keys He's been given by God by Raising the dead immediately He gave up the ghost after saying it is finished in John 19:30.  - We should ask Jesus for help when facing the horrors of death or life and He will answer. - The book also says that 70 years is the minimum age we(are covenanted to live Ps. 90:10) but it can be increased to 120 -180 as we want and according to our strength).  - He reminded us about what Hezekiah did in Isaiah 38; calling/putting...

With Oby Ezekwesili; The former Minister of Education. No, I am not pregnant My heart is full of gratitude as I write this blog. I have seen great people but never have I met the ones who I have looked up to from afar. Recently, I had tweeted about Subomi Plumtre and how much I love her. She has the ability to put down what I think but can't write(believe me, this takes a lot of grace). I have gone as far as reading most of the posts on her website. The only thing I am yet to do is subscribe to her investment class, which I hope to do soon. With Subomi Plumptre I always knew me and this woman have so many things in common. — Jane Chima (@JaneChima1) April 27, 2018 and This woman knows how to put down what I can't write or explain.
